I was a big fan of Dr Pepper most all my life. I stopped drink soda altogether for many years.
I started back drinking mostly Dr Pepper; Since then I have seen and personally had the 16.9 oz plastic bottles tip over and spill with very little movement. Dr Pepper makes a major sticky mess that is almost impossible to clean out of fabric and carpet. Getting the fluid up is not that hard but clearing the stickiness from hard surfaces requires multiple cleanings. Seems there could be a more stable bottle.
If sitting on a flat surface when the bottle is full and very top heavy, simply disturbing other things on a table have cause it to tip and spill. The slightest brush against the top of the bottle will usually knock it over. I would suggest the decision makers with Dr Pepper review the physics and dynamics of the stability of the bottle that is typically found in average consumption situations.
Otherwise, I have to start pouring it into another more stable container or change to another product. And, I like Dr Pepper.
